President
Philip's
Message
I am so encouraged by the
enthusiasm of our Club’s Members for the work ahead across our
various projects under each Avenue of Service and membership
development. Some committees are still to meet, but the energy and
passion displayed by everyone is evident. It’s been fantastic to
see the incredible focus demonstrated by our Members that so
typifies Southbankers and leads to so much achievement. We clearly
have a lot to do, but it’s going to be a great year with great
outcomes! ...

Inspire
For
centuries, the rival tribes of Salva Dut and Dep Tuany have fought
in the Sudanese desert. Today, the two men, both U.S. Rotarians and
refugees, are working together to bring peace and clean water to the
troubled region.

DG Colin Muir's Weekly Message
in
Networker
(Issue 2, 6 July 2009)
July is Changeover Month
"This Year"
Changeovers
are one of the best occasions in the Rotary calendar. Not only are
they great social and fellowship occasions, but they give members
and guests the opportunity to reflect on our wonderful
organisation of Rotary, its goal of achieving world understanding
and peace, and most importantly, the achievements we have made in
our local communities and across the world. ...
