great to hear District 9800’s Foundation Director Elect, Past
District Governor John Davis talk to us about the new Foundation
Vision program last Tuesday. I can’t emphasise enough how important
it is to support Foundation. A number of us have also joined the
Every Rotarian Every Year
(EREY)
program (formerly called
the Centurian program) after hearing our Foundation Director, Steven
Aquilina talk about this last Tuesday. If you are considering it, I
urge you to talk further with Steven. ...

This year Rotary International is 104 years young. On a cold
day in Chicago in 1905, would Paul Harris and his colleagues have
dreamed of what their lunch meeting would become today?
Would they have dreamed that in 1917 Rotary International
President Arch C. Klumph would sow the seeds of the Rotary
Foundation?
Like Rotary, our Foundation had a very modest beginning. RI
President Arch C. Klumph told delegates to his Atlanta Convention
that “It seemed eminently proper that we should accept endowments
for the purpose of doing good in the world.” ...
