President
Philip's
Message
It was great to have
Andrew Chappell as our guest speaker last Tuesday. He was very
informative and there is no doubt Andrew and his team will be great
partners in helping us to establish the Rotary Club of Southbank’s
Giving Trust. I am sure our Scribe’s notes will be very detailed
about Andrew’s talk, but this is the link to the Lord Mayor’s
Charitable Fund website where you can find all the information you
need to understand this more:

Last Week's
Meeting
Charles Dimmick was acting
sergeant and did a fabulous job of it. He was quick to remind
us that he is incoming Treasurer. Just this taste of his
skills enough to put us all on notice that Charles is going to bring
the skills of his employer to bear next year and we'd better be
prepared to open our wallets/purses/bank accounts/investment
portfolios (only for the super rich among us, of course) next year
to do good in the world! ...
