President
Philip's
Message
Rotary gives us
an opportunity to learn and develop a range of skills, particularly
leadership skills. Next weekend President Elect Bettina will be
attending PETS (Presidents Elect Training Seminar) at Echuca, where
she will be able to equip herself for her leadership role next
year. ...

Last Week's
Meeting
We had a great meeting with PP Tracey standing in as acting
president and chairperson AND also doing attendance - talk about
multi-tasking!
There were a number of guests for this meeting, particularly Ross
whom we have not seen for a while and Bobbi brought along Jake who
is probably one of, if not the youngest guest the club has ever had.

"Getting Your Message Out"
I am often asked what can we do to get our message
out. What is the best way of reaching our Rotary community and
engaging our membership? With so many things going on in Rotary
how do you do it!
Often we have requests from Clubs seeking support
for one of their programs, projects or activities. It could be
they are looking for other Clubs and Districts to join in a new
Water and Sanitation project overseas or perhaps wanting to
announce of a major fundraiser for Polio Plus. It could be even as
simple as providing a means of broadcasting recognition for one of
their members who have performed outstanding service to the
community. ...
